So, it’s only been in the last ten years or so, since the boys spread their wings and I found myself with time on my hands, that I have been able to indulge my love of crafts and dabble in silk painting, Chinese art, patchwork, and life drawing, to name but a few.
It has only been in the last couple of years that I have taken up painting again. In 2005 I showed some pictures of my work to a colleague – I work at Pendle Heritage Centre, a marvellous place to visit – and against my better judgement was persuaded to enter the Pendle in Paint competition. I was astounded to learn I had taken First Prize in the Open section.
As a direct consequence of this, I now have the confidence to share with you this website showcasing my work.
